You will learn how to correctly recognise and measure inventories in accordance with IAS 2, recognise provisions and contingent liabilities in accordance with IAS 37, properly account for leases in accordance with IFRS 16, translate foreign currency transactions and financial statements of foreign companies in accordance with IAS 21 and recognise and present employee benefits, including pension obligations, in accordance with IAS 19.

Duration and structure

How is the course structured?

Our Master Class is divided into several blocks. Each block deals with a specific aspect and offers a mixture of theoretical principles and practical application examples. Joint video conferences are used to consolidate what has been learnt and clarify questions. The structure of the Master Class allows participants to work through the content at their own pace until the video conference and to put what they have learnt directly into practice. At the end, cross-topic case studies are dealt with in order to understand the context and consolidate what has been learnt.

The duration of a Master Class is 24 hours in total. This includes 18 hours of self-study with our online courses on the respective standards and 6 hours of video conferencing (4 x 90 minutes).
